Three down.....
...a countless multitude to go! On my personal 2016 Use All My Stamps Challenge, that is. In an effort to make regular progress on my Christmas cards, I made this Pinspired card.
If you follow the link above, you will see that the original was posted by CACath on SplitCoast Stampers. I really wanted to recreate the refreshing simplicity of her card. I didn't have an embossing folder for the elegant frame, so I made one using my Silver Bullet cutter, cardstock, and recycled cereal box cardboard.
The front of the card features a Stamper's Anonymous Tim Holtz stamp from the Holiday Wishes set, in Archival Fern Green ink, and a sentiment from a Recollections set in Archival Jet Black. The card base is from the Shimmer Stack by DCVW that I've had for years, and basic white cardstock from my stash.
I popped up the stamped panel over some knotted ribbon with foam tape to give it dimension:
Inside:
I repeated the TH stamp on the shimmery green paper, and layered a plain white panel with a Hero Arts sentiment over it. I gave each of the corners an angled cut to mirror the embossing on the front.
I hope everyone is enjoying the first days of this New Year! As always, I thank you for stopping by.
Elizabeth
