A purple birthday card (and a free file)

Hello folks!

Today I have a birthday card to share.

I had fun layering up some fancy papers for this card. The purple floral is from GCD Studios. It is double sided, and cuts really nicely with my digital cutter.  I got a couple of stacks of it a while back at Big Lots for $5.00 each! I made the focal element by welding some shapes together in  my software.  It is very entertaining to put my own spin on all of the SVGs I have collected.

Here is a peek at the inside:

I trimmed down the "offcuts" from the front of the card to make the reverse bracket at the top.  Pretty tricky use of scraps, no?

You can download the file for this bracket bottom card base from my SkyDrive  here: Bracket bottom card base

I wish you a wonderful day!

Elizabeth
