Saint Patrick's Day

Hi Everyone!

Hope you all have had a terrific weekend.  I was able to spend some time in my craft room and got two St. Patrick's day cards ready to go in the mail tomorrow.  Michelle, of  Michellemybellescreations has been making and sharing Mojo Monday card sketches (with permission, of course) in MTC Format.  I used the February sketch, available here: http://michellemybellescreations.blogspot.com/search/label/MojoMonday to make these cards for my parents and in- laws.  I had intended to use a layered shamrock as the focal point of the card, but by the time I got all the background strips layed out, I decided I liked it just the way it was.

The printed papers are from the Patrick collection from Sassy Designs.  I used the print and cut and texture features of MTC and my Black Cat Cougar to cut just what I needed, without wasting ink.

I designed the inside emblem of the card as one print and cut piece. ( Usually I build up individual layers of paper. ) It was quicker this way, and makes the card less bulky, but I'm not sure I like it better.  I will have to repeat the process and see if it grows on me.  Here is the inside:

Have a wonderful week!
