My latest ATC Swap

Hope you all are having a good day.  I wanted to share the card that I made for the last Black Cat US Swap, the Express Yourself swap.  Since everyone has received their cards, I thought I would post mine here and tell a bit about how I made it.  I used more techniqes by far  than I have ever used in one project before, all on one tiny little card!

Instead of a lenthy description of my process (I just bored myself to tears typing that up, and decided not to torture you with it!) I will simply list the techinques and tools that I used.

Supplies and tools:
Cropodile Corner Chomper
various papers- 1 print, several solid neutrals and one green solid
Black Cat Cougar
Make the Cut software
2 Rubber Stamps
Embossing Power
Heat Gun
PrismaColor Pencils
Martha Stewart Twine
Green Ink Pad
Tim Holtz Distress Stain
Sizzix Big Kick and embossing folder
Yes Paste and paint brush
Scotch Paper Glue
Scotch ATG tape runner
Sea glass

Heat Embossing
Resist Inking
Dry Embossing
Edge Inking
Inked brad
Twine Tying
Machine Cutting
Machine Print and Cut
Rotary cutting
Paper piecing
Lots and lots of gluing and taping!
Corner rounding

It was a really fun card to make, and the cards I received are absolutely amazing!  You can check them all out here:

I believe that this swap has generated more discussion than any other topic since the beginning of the Black Cat Forum.  First we all agonized over how to best express ourselves, then we waited with bated breath and laughter for the cards to arrive, and now many are offering eloquent and loving interpretations of the cards.  This swap has been very rewarding, as is all of the time that I spend with my "online" friends.

Thanks for stopping by!
