Two Gift Boxes

Hello Everyone,

Hope you all are having a productive Saturday!  I am moving food back into my repaired (Yay, we didn't have to buy a new one!) fridge, finishing trim boards for our bathroom redo, working on any crafting that needs to be done before our trip to Maine for Thanksgiving,  and choosing Christmas card photos.

Here are a couple of little gift boxes that I made for my Mom and MIL.  I used the One Piece Box collection from SVG Cuts.   Once again I used the Gerber Daisy from Royal Inspirations SVG.  I have been using the file over and over again for my holiday projects.  I even have extras made to add to last minute tags and projects.

The shiny black tab is made by adhering a piece of vinyl to cardstock and running it through a pressure embosser.  I love how it looks with the fancy gold paper.  (Better in real life, as usual; You'll have to take my word for it!)  I sprayed the flower with a bit of Distress Pearls spray that I made using gold Perfect Pearls and a bit of Distress re-inker in Wild Honey.

No expanation needed for this one!  As usual, I cut the flower pieces from white cardstock, and inked them with Distress Inks.

For very little effort, I have pretty custom gift boxes, instead of the plain old white ones from the store.

My next project is a bunch of the Candle Holders I posted recently.  The vinyl is cut, but I am messing around with some Martha Stewart frosted glass paint.  It's kind of cool, but if there is an easier way to get the same effect, I sure would like to know about it!  (I could etch them, but that would take forever and a day, with my tiny little sand blaster!)

Happy Weekend!

Elizabeth
