It's time for...

... another Christmas Card.  Again, I am joining in with the Merry Monday Gang.  I am finding that this is an excellent way to keep up with my Christmas cards.  Making one card per week allows me to spend more time on each card than I do if I have to knock out a bunch in a rush, and I'm finding that I am much happier with the results.

Challenge number 192 is Berries!

You might have to click on the photo to enlarge it to really see the berries on my card, but I assure you, they are there!  I stamped the Tim Holtz wreath from the Mini Holidays #5 set in Library Green Archival ink.  Next I colored the berries by dotting on red ink from a Bic Marker (Yeah, I know, not the fanciest of supplies, but hey, they work for me!)

Next, I colored the bow with Distress inks, using a water color paint brush.  For a final touch on the wreath image, I added some white highlights with a gel pen.

To finish my card front, I stamped a sentiment from Hero Arts, again with Library Green archival ink, and cut some layering mats from my collection of Christmas papers.  A knotted twine tie adds some texture, dimension and a rustic touch.

The inside of my card looks like this:

I used another Tim Holtz stamp, along with a small flourish with greenery and more tiny berries.

Thanks for stopping by to see my latest project.  I wish you all a wonderful week!
