Hello Everyone,
Happy Hump Day! I'm so glad it is Wednesday! I can't wait to get to some serious crafting as the week ends. This evening, I am posting another of my mini-journal experiments. This one was just as much fun as the last. It is a waterfall folio style album, and has lots of space for journaling and photos.
This album features a traditional cover, made with designer paper covered chipboard, with a contrasting designer paper spine reinforcement.
When opened, the album has a nice pocket and eight flip pages. I cut these with my Silver Bullet Professional digital cutter. I am going to have so much fun designing fancy borders for my next few waterfall folio albums!
I used three coordinating designer papers, and two colors of cardstock to "build" my flip section.
I added an eyelet to the spine, so that I can add some ribbon and charms. This deeper spine design will allow for a variety of embellishments. This one might be my fav mini so far. It was easy and fun, and my elder daughter, who is a nursing student, liked it so much that she asked me to make one that she can add her nursing notes to, and slip into her scrubs pocket.
I followed this tutorial, by My Sister's Scrapper to make my waterfall folio album. The instructions are very clear, and her albums are beautifully made and embellished with beautiful G45 papers. Sure does make me want to buy a few stacks of that gorgeous stuff!
Thanks for stopping by today!
Elizabeth
Beautiful!
