Documented Life Project Week Eight
Happy Sunday, Everyone!
The challenge this week for the Documented Life Project was to add a flap to our flaps.
Here is my page with my flap, an index card, closed. I am using a chipboard tag as a latch. I will post more about that in a post to follow. The index card was made to coordinate with the base page spritzing and picking up the leftover Distress paint from my nonstick mat, after painting the base flap. I added lots of stamping with Archival inks.
Here is the opened flap, attached with washi tape. My base page is watercolor paper with Distress Paints applied roughly in squares with a foam brush. I added some layered stenciling, also with Distress Paints and some stamping with Archival Ink. A few pieces of gray washi tape finish the pages.
I am already working on my week nine page, as I will be too busy to do much at the end of the week, and I don't want to skip a week. I have a bad habit of letting little lapses in my routines turn into big lapses. I don't want that to happen with this project, because it is so rewarding. Maybe having it done early will prompt me to do more journaling than I usually do.
I wish you all a wonderful week!
Elizabeth
