I have a few things to post for you this week, as a result of lots of time spent in my craft room. First up is a very purple birthday card:
I wanted to try out a quick card idea that I saw somewhere on the web, and noodled around until I got this one: I cut a piece of cardstock to 4.25x11, and scored it 1.5 inches from one edge and 4 inches from the other to make an offset gatefold card. I cut the heart and flowers with my digital cutter. I embossed and inked the decorative panel on the left, and used a pretty scrap for the right panel. The heart is attached to the belly band. The sentiment is a print and cut that I inked and layered. A few little rhinestones and Voila, a quick and easy card is ready to pop in the mail.
Thanks for looking!
