Father's Day Card for my husband

Happy Father's Day!

Hope it is a great day for everyone.  My DH Mark is away for the weekend, so I have been using my spare time to plan and make his Father's Day Card.  Some of my friends over on the Black Cat US forum have been working on Steam Punk cards this week.  I took inspiration from their creations to made this card.

What I love best about this card is the inside, which has a really nifty spinning pop-up element.  It took me at least a couple of hours to figure out how to make this without purchasing any dies.  I was able to create a cut file that does the trick.  Here's what the inside looks like when it is open:

At the bottom of this post, you will find links to my sprocket SVG and the sprocket edged card SVG.  I created them by tracing photos from gear manufactures.  I used a variety of metallic acrylic paints to color the sprockets, and aged them with Black Soot Distress Ink.  The clock face and hands were cut from an SVG created by Kim on the BC forum.  I used Distress Crackle in Black Soot, and dabbed on some silver and gold gel paint.  I used two PC Embossing Folders, and fonts from Lettering Delights with my Cougar Pen tool.  The stamp is from Tim Holtz.  The tag on the front is from SVG Cuts, and the inside tag is a Shaplie from Penny Duncan.
