A birthday Card for DD

Hello,

Here is the birthday card that I made today for my DD's 17th Birthday.  I used DCVW's Green stack, and inspiration from MichellemyBelle's MojoMonday 234 MTC file.  Michelle has generously been interpreting the MojoMonday sketches in MTC format this year.  You can find them on her blog here: http://michellemybellescreations.blogspot.com/
The "hoot hoot" element was made with my Epiphany Crafts Shape Studio tool.  I used a pen in my Black Cat Cougar cutter to write the words on a piece of my background paper.  With the Shape Studio tool, I can "fussy cut" the circle while adhereing the epoxy dot.  It is easy and really fun to do.  I love the little bit of shine that it adds to my cards.
I used my Ranger Distress Inks to color the white cardstock that I used as a card base. For this card, I used Evergreen Bough, Antique Linen and Walnut Stain.  I hand cut the cute bird from a piece of the DCVW paper.
I hope you all had a terrific weekend!  I spent lots of time in my craft room working on my latest batch of ATC cards for the Black Cat US Forum swap.  They are almost ready to mail.

Hugs,

Elizabeth
