It's the most wonderful time of the year!

Hello Friends!

It's Christmas crafting time!  I was lucky enough to have a couple of days in my craft room this week to catch up on the Funkie Junkie 12 Tags of Christmas 2015 challenge.  I fell pretty far behind due to other commitments, so it was a joy to get back at it.  If you haven't had a chance to check out this fun challenge, click on the link to see the requirements.  The Funkie Junkie Boutique is the generous sponsor of the challenge, and along with the fun of playing along, there is the chance to win some terrific prizes.

Here is the Week Four Inspiration tag, created by Linda Coughlin:

This one makes my heart go pitter-patter!  It is so reminiscent of the vintage holiday cards in my collection from the turn of the century (20th, that is!).  The poinsettia is stunning; and the plaid background?  LOVE!

Here's my tiny take:

I recreated the Distress Inked plaid background with silver foil touches, added greenery and a velvet paper poinsettia, cut with my Silver Bullet cutter,(the center is one of the adorably tiny bronze jingle bells  available at the Funkie Junkie Boutique)  and a tiny greeting stamped with Archival Ink on acetate and mounted in the corner.

Here's a peek at how the printer's trays are coming along:

I've started to think about filling the extra spaces, and found a vintage advertising card in my collection that works perfectly.  I copied it on to cardstock and trimmed it to fit.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today!  I wish you a wonderful weekend!
