12 Tags of 2015 - June



Hello Friends!

Long time no blog!  June has been a very busy month for me, with almost no time for crafting.  I have been having lots of fun, though, so no regrets.  When I finally got some time to play, the June "Tim Tag" was the first project I tackled. 

I love Tim's background for this month!

Green Distressed Plaid!  LOVE!  The rest of the tag is really cute, too, but since I'm not at all a coffee drinker, I zigged and zagged pretty far from the Tim's original. 

Here's my version:






 
I grabbed lots of bits a pieces from my scrap containers, and altered as needed with Distress Paints and embossing to coordinate with my background.  ( I used an embossing folder as a stamp to created my background, as I don't have a striped stencil.)

    Wow, this is just fabulous Elizabeth! What a unique looking container, wherever did you get that from! Love the colours you used, the blues and greens go so well together! hugs :)

      Thanks, Pamellia! The "frame" is one of the doors of a jewelry "armoire" that I picked up at the thrift shop. It was a good purchase, as I have been using both doors all year to display my 12 tags, and there are other good pieces of it in my "things to be altered" pile!
