The one with the fall antique "assemblage"...

Hi Everyone!

We are having a beautiful cool and crisp fall day here today.  I hope you are enjoying some nice fall weather, too.  I love fall decorating, and recently, I put together this little display:

I lined parts of an antique cigar box with photo copies of old letters and photos.  I added a few autumn colored antique bits and pieces and a dollar store mini pumpkin.

This "wizard" snap fastener card was in my great-grandmother's sewing basket.  It couldn't be more perfect in color or theme for this display.  In the same basket was the scrap of black polka dot fabric, that co-ordinates so nicely with the dominoes, which came in a grab bottle of miscellaneous stuff, including the tin moon and star on the left.  Serendipity in the studio!

Thanks for stopping by today to check it out.

Happy Fall!

Elizabeth
