The one with lots of art journal pages....

Hi Everyone,

Since we are half way through the month, I though I would share the first 15 or so Art Journal Pages I created so far.  I am having fun with my 5 minute per day challenge, and have actually spent much more than that on most days.

water soluble crayon background

This started with water color blobs

My first totally acrylic painting

Well, this one is a hot mess!

Experimenting with layering stamps

miscellaneous background

Using self made Distress Ink sprays

Pan Pastels

Really fun background technique using gesso, acrylics and a baby wipe

Layering with masks and stencils

Self made acrylic paint sprays and lots of paper scraps

Stamps on newsprint with Distress stains and paints, stamping on twill tape

Using up stuff from my Collage Junque box

Less than 5 minutes here, LOL.  Foam brush and the water from my brush jar!

Distress stains over black heat embossing

strips of Gelli-Plate papers, Picket Fence Distress Stain

Collaged scrap papers, overwashed with watered down acrylics, foam tray stamps and acrylic sprayed stencils and drips

Most of these pages are from my "experimental" art journal, rather than the altered book I am also working on.  I may remove my favorites and add them to the altered book.  I find it much less intimidating to work in the "experimental" journal. At any rate, I am having lots of fun this month, and am now calling my Craft Room my Studio!

I'm looking forward to posting my latest up-cycled project soon.  Until then,, have a wonderful end of the week everyone!
